[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With all of the knife making forums out there, all of the internet to provide access to great knife making resources, and all of the publications supporting the craft, why bother to write more about it?
The simple answer is that it helps me think. More than that, it helps me to clarify things I already think. Even more than that, as I get older my memory gets weaker, and I might need help someday remembering all of the thoughts and insights and reflections I had in my younger, more mentally agile days.
I spend a lot of time reading about making knives, thinking about making knives, learning about making knives, corresponding about making knives, talking about making knives, actually making knives, looking at knives… you get the idea. I consider these activities to be research and development, and I consider this blog to be the place where I consolidate it into text for myself and posterity. If someone can learn something or even teach me something because of what I write, that’d be great.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
