I make knives and things.

Every knife I make is an opportunity to learn something new, and constant learning keeps me inspired to create unique knives worthy of having my name on them.

Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would go about a little and see the world. In time I acquired two master’s degrees, a family, far too many dogs, and a surprisingly satisfying career in accounting. Balance sheets were created, reconciled, consolidated, and dissolved. Hobbies and nebulae flamed to life and died. I twice added extra pages to my passport. My garage became overrun with tools, and my house by plants. Now resettled in my hometown, I find enjoyment in quiet times and good company, in spending time outside, and in spreadsheets that foot and cross-foot. But mostly I like making things, and I’ve been making knives since 2009.
